There are 3 E.Leitz Wetzlar objective lenses i.e. Built in the late 1980s as the final effort by Leitz to outdo any top of the line microscope made by anyone else. ![]() The lenses all appear to be in good condition although the plano-concave mirror has some staining to the silvering mainly confined to the convex side and the lacquered brass has good colour and patina with wear patches and spots to the lacquer and black enamel with subsequent oxidation.
